Since its initial release, the Nike Air Max 90 has remained a benchmark for comfort, versatility, and timeless style. It's no surprise that Nike continues to churn out new renditions, captivating the hearts of sneakerheads time and time again. For this upcoming release, Nike mini Swoosh details and covers the model in an “Obsidian Black Volt” color scheme.
The Air Max 90 utilizes a medley of materials and colors to deliver a striking aesthetic. Obsidian suede overlays decorate the mudguard, vamp, and midfoot. In contrast, black ripstop nylon adorns the tongue, toe box, and collar, reinforcing the sneaker's durability and rugged appeal. Adding some vibrancy, a mini Swoosh is found on the toebox, echoing the same color as the volt green Nike text on the tongue top and the heel. Popping amongst all of the darker panels is grey TPU on the eyelets and lateral heel, sitting above and below the black leather Swoosh on the midfoot. The design concludes with a black-on-black midsole and outsole and a volt green Air unit in the heel.
The Nike Air Max 90 Obsidian Black Volt will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The sneakers will be available in men's sizing, and the retail price is set at $140.
