With winter coming to an end, outdoor sports are coming back in full swing. Nike’s specialty lies in running and basketball but recently has expanded their golf collection, including a set of Air Jordan 1 Low Golfs. Helping celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company's family picnic and their push on golf ready silhouettes is the Nike Air Max 90 “Picnic.”
Coming dressed in a red and white plaid reminiscent of a picnic table cover on the canvas overlays, wicker-lick mesh makes up the underlays. White rope laces run up to the custom tongue tags with a commemoration to Nike's annual family picnic, made to look like a ketchup and mustard bottle. Nike Swoosh branding comes in black along the midfoot and the white plastic heel tab. On the insole, the same commemoration for the company picnic seen on the tongue is present. Rounding out the look is the white midsole paired to the tractioned golf ready black outsole.
The Nike Air Max 90 Golf Picnic is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select Nike Golf retailers online and in-store. Coming exclusively in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
