The Nike Air Max 90 Futura in “Triple White” is far from ordinary, as the seemingly piecemealed look of the upper has plenty of intriguing design quirks that allows even this simple all-white colorway to stand out. A greyish-white outsole and stark white midsole remain unaffected by the organized bedlam of the upper. The tumbled white leather mudguard and toe rand are mostly intact, serving as the primary overlay on the upper, with a small half-circle patch of textured white suede on the lateral side, where the mudguard and toe rand meet.
White smooth leather scraps appear to anchor the eyestays to the mudguard, as the usually underlaid Nike Swoosh branding sits overtop the mudguard in textured white leather. The eyestay is a mashup of white plastic and white smooth leather in an inside-out manner, as the thin white laces criss-cross over top the white mesh tongue. The white tongue tag and heel badges feature debossed Nike Air branding hits.
