Cheer on the Detroit Lions in This Nike Air Max 90
PublishedThe NFL playoff race is coming to a close. Four teams remain, with two of them advancing to the Super Bowl. Among these teams is the Detroit Lions, a team that has never been to the Super Bowl. Yes, the Lions have won the NFL championship before. However, these titles came before the first Super Bowl in 1967. So, as the Detroit Lions are set to face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game, Nike will drop a themed colorway of the Air Max 90, perfect for fans of the Michigan-based team.
The Nike Air Max 90 Detroit Lions matches perfectly with the team's official uniform colors: white, black, and photo blue. Coming in OG-style colorblocking, white covers the mesh underlays, tongue, lining, laces, and midsole. Grey accents are seen via suede overlay, leather mudguard, and top plastic eyelet.
The lonely hits of black come into play via the suede Swoosh on the sides and most of the solid rubber outsole. Photo Blue covers the rest of the sneaker, including the bottom plastic eyelet, Nike branding on the tongue tag, back heel tab, Air Max badge on the mudguard, midsole wedge, and the rest of the outsole.
The Nike Air Max 90 Detroit Lions is set to release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
