Denim covered sneakers are all the rage for Nike this year. Now the storied Air Max 90 is getting the treatment once again on the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 “Denim”.
As the naming convention states, the upper of this AM90 utilizes a classic blue denim across both the underlays and overlays. Branding details don a habanero red on the embroidered Nike Swoosh, tongue tag, and plastic heel tab. Breaking up the Canadian tuxedo look are multiple plastic overlays along the eyelets and midfoot, both coming in white. More hits of white make their way onto the laces, sockliner, and insole. Finishing off the look is the white and football grey midsole featuring a visible Air unit in red paired with an outsole borrowing the same color scheme as the midsole it sits below.
