35 years of the Air Max Line has proven the technology and its retro designs still have a place in today's world of boundary-pushing silhouettes such as the recyclable Nike Axis. A fan-favorite amongst Air Max enthusiasts, the Nike Air Max 90 gets a mashup of clashing colors on the soon to be released “Court Purple Lemon Drop” colorway.
A mixture of suede, leather, mesh, and TPU construct the upper of this AM90. The wolf grey mesh underlay seen on the toebox and collar comes surrounded by suede overlays of court purple on the mudguard and lemon drop colored overlays. The vamp partakes in this lemon drop suede as well, housing the bottommost white lace. Along the TPU eyestays, a mix of wolf grey and lemon drop accent the clashing colors surrounding them. Placed on the midfoot is a black leather Nike Swoosh, housed between the previously mentioned court purple and lemon drop suede overlays. Nike Air branding sits on the golden heel tab. Rounding out the look is the white foam midsole with a visible Air unit set to a tri-toned purple, grey, and gold rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 90 Court Purple Lemon Drop is set to release on May 12th, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
