As Nike keeps pushing the boundaries of footwear, they're revisiting the Air Max 90 with a corduroy flair exclusive for women. Following the corduroy editions of the Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low Premium, the Nike Air Max 90 Cordairoy aims to stand out. This time, the model uses even more corduroy material than its predecessors.
The Women's Nike Air Max 90 "Cordairoy" celebrates vibrant colors and materials. A patchwork design graces the panels, combining greenish-tan hues on the mudguard and Swoosh, while the midfoot panel comes in white. Contrasting pink, purple, and aqua-green pops cover the toebox, vamp, and tongue. Black laces and TPU eyelets add a bold touch. The overlay runs in a tri-tone scheme: cream near the toe, blue at the midfoot, and light pink near the heel. The red on the collar brings an additional pop of excitement. Below, a white foam midsole sits above a black rubber outsole, which encases the Air unit in the heel.
The Nike Air Max 90 Cordairoy W will release November 9, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
