After bringing back Charles Barkley’s Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 in 2020, its resurgence in popularity continues. We have seen both old and new colorways of Barkley’s most popular signature silhouette come and go, selling out instantly. So it’s no surprise to see Nike Sportswear continue to dish out more pairs to appease the masses. Next up is an original colorway with a twist.
Nicknamed the “Suns” edition, this Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 calls back to the Round Mound of Rebound’s days in Phoenix. It comes in white, varsity purple, black and total orange. Featuring traditional color blocking with a white-based leather upper and black accents. Purple and orange hits come via the branding throughout as well as the Max Air unit in the heel, inner neoprene lining and the outsole. Barkley’s number “34” is embroidered on the ankles, giving off a player exclusive vibe and adding a bonus touch of flare.
The Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Suns is set to release on February 1st, 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select retailers in-store and online.
