If some of Nike's most recent Air Max 1 offerings have been a little too vibrant for your tastes and you're looking for something significantly more understated, the Nike Air Max 1 "Pale Ivory Sanddrift" has been made with you in mind. One of the latest colorways to grace the Beaverton sportswear company's iconic '80s model, you'll find everything that you need to know, and a whole lot more, right here.
Dressed in a crisp pale ivory mesh base, this Air Max 1 is overlaid by complementary leather paneling across the laterals and medials, while the mudguard has been taken over by sanddrift suede. A Nike Swoosh glides across the sidewalls, and additional "Nike" branding is finely debossed along the tongue tag and heel badge. Shifting your focus down below, you'll find a clean white Air midsole complete with an exposed bubble, and this sneaker is finished with a creamy rubber outsole, rounding off the design.
While the Nike Air Max 1 Pale Ivory Sanddrift W looks like a shoe that should drop around Spring or Summer, it's actually scheduled to release sometime in Fall 2023. Better late than never though, right? Launching at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, they will retail for $140 exclusively in women's sizing.
