Building upon their recently previewed Hangul Day Collection momentum, Nike is extending the special-edition line to incorporate the classic Nike Air Max 1. Already including the Nike P-6000 Premium and Dunk Low, this women's exclusive Air Max 1 pays homage to the Korean alphabet and culture.
This latest addition to the Hangul Day Collection offers a harmonious blend of earthy tones and textures. A tan suede overlay wraps around a white mesh base, providing aesthetic balance and tactile contrast. The iconic Swoosh comes in crisp white leather, serving as a neutral but distinct counterpoint to the earthy upper. As with the previous releases in this range, the heel plays host to Hangul text, with the left sneaker displaying "Nike" in Hangul and the right featuring a bespoke Nike logo. A sail foam midsole with an exposed Air unit in the heel offers cushioning and style. The look is completed by a two-tone rubber outsole in black and sail.
The Nike Air Max 1 Hangul Day W will release October 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
