This year, the Air Max 1 takes center stage, joining the ranks alongside other models like the Dunk Low and the Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2, all adorned with Dia de los Muertos motifs.
The upcoming Air Max 1 iteration for this festive occasion is nothing short of vibrant. A lively pink base, complemented by a burst of yellow, purple, green, and orange hues, encapsulates the loving spirit of the holiday. The detailed floral and sun patterns embroidered onto the toebox, midfoot, and the iconic Swoosh pay homage to traditional Day of the Dead decorations.
Meanwhile, the purple Nike logo on the tongue and the intertwined birds on the heel, forming a symbolic heart, further accentuate the theme. The design is capped off with a dual-toned foam midsole, transitioning from pink to white, anchored by a pristine white rubber outsole. The Nike Air Max 1 Dia de los Muertos originally released on October 21, 2023 via Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. It is set to restock on December 13 through Nike and SNKRS.
