Nike has cooked up some Chili-themed colorways throughout the years on some of its most coveted silhouettes. One model in particular, the Air Max 1, has seen a few iterations, with the most recent pair, the Chili 2.0, released in July 2023. For Summer 2024, Nike is kicking it up with an all-new Air Max 1 Hot Sauce edition that is spicier than the rest.
The Nike Air Max 1 Hot Sauce comes in a white, chile red, metallic silver, neutral grey, sail, and fir colorway. White mesh underlays are paired with grey premium leather and silver crinkled leather overlays. The chile red Swoosh on the sides and top plastic eyelets feature black speckled detailing that packs a punch.
Custom Nike branding on the back heel features Nike in black with a chili pepper instead of the "I." More custom branding makes its way onto the insoles, with the same logo on the left shoe, while "it's in the sauce" is written on the right. A sail-colored, Max Air cushioned midsole sits atop a tri-colored solid rubber outsole in white, red, and black.
