Back in the year 2000 when many of the current generation of sneakerheads weren’t even born yet, Nike introduced the Air Kukini. Released as part of the Beaverton brand’s now-retired Alpha Project, the silhouette was loved by many Swoosh fans. After being brought back earlier this year, the resurgence of the Nike Air Kukini is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Coming in a unique "Paint Splatter" edition, the neoprene upper on this pair has been left in a stark all-black combo, complete with nubuck overlays throughout. A multi-colored paint splatter effect takes over the entire shoe for a look that is sure to turn heads. With blue, orange, pink, purple, and white hues randomly scattered across the upper, this is layered with the Air Kukini’s iconic semi-translucent TPU cage. This extends all the way towards the Air midsole underfoot, completing the look.
The Nike Air Kukini Paint Splatter is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers. Coming in men's sizing, retail with set you back $125. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
