After celebrating their 30th Anniversary in 2021, Nike Sportswear is continuing its push for the classic Huarache runner. We saw some original colorways come back such as the coveted “Scream Green” as well as modern-day classics in the “Escape” and “Stussy” editions. Remastered with the best form yet, the sneakers' current run also features OG-style packaging for an added touch of flair.
Fresh for the new year comes the Nike Air Huarache “University Gold and Pink.” Sporting a light bone-based upper composed of soft nubuck leather and OG mesh. The classic Neoprene sleeve is covered in university gold and lethal pink. Black accents the Huarache tongue logo, back heel clip and outsole. Finishing things off for this pair is custom Air Huarache branding on the insoles and grey paint splatter detailing on the Air cushioned midsole.
The Nike Air Huarache University Gold and Pink is set to release on February 22nd, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers in-store and online.
