Without beating around the bush, it’s quite clear that this Nike Air Huarache "Mowabb" iteration has been inspired by the Olivia Kim x Nike Air Mowabb “No Cover." Back in 2019, the style icon was tasked by the Beaverton brand to rework five classic silhouettes that mirror ‘90s fashion. This particular colorway pays homage to the NYC party scene with a rich geode teal neoprene base and supple light British tan suede panels throughout. You’ll also find a lipstick-like gym red accent around the back, and a speckled midsole that mimics stars in the night sky. With all that said, even if you didn’t know that this Huarache was inspired by another sneaker, you’re still left with an ultra-wearable colorway that’s oozing with ACG-influenced vibes.
Huarache hype is still here, and it’s not going anywhere, anytime soon. The Nike Air Huarache Mowabb Light British Tan Geode Teal is set to release in men’s sizes this on August 23rd, 2022 with a price tag of $125.
