Styled after a Native American sandal, Tinker Hatfield’s Nike Air Huarache has stood the test of time by remaining popular since its debut. Now with Nike attempting to reach their Move To Zero goals, the silhouette gets hits with the sustainable material trend on its midsole, creating the Nike Air Huarache Crater.
The typical neoprene internal bootie construction remains on this sustainable take, coming in a sky blue color with accenting navy leather overlays placed on the mudguard, eyelet, and midfoot. Beneath this is the most eye-catching detail, a woven textile pattern coming in a multi-color makeup. Jetting from the midfoot towards the heel, a black plastic overlay holds the semi-translucent recycled heel tab, also seen on the Air Huarache logo on the tongue. Greeting the volt green Move To Zero logo laden insole is the tan neoprene sockliner. Driving home the recycled makeup is the Crater foam midsole in a muted green and rubber outsole in black, both of which come speckled with recycled bits of material.
The Nike Air Huarache Crater Woven Multi is set to release on May 26th, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
