Back in 1991, Tinker Hatfield transformed the sneaker game once again with the announcement of the Nike Air Huarache. Unlike anything the world had seen before, its design still looks futuristic even by today’s standard. Known for its neoprene uppers, it looks like the Oregon giant will be trying something new this season with the Nike Air Huarache Crater Black Atomic Orange!
The first thing that you’ll notice about this sneaker is the woven textile upper that’s extremely versatile and flexible. Dipped in a vibrant atomic orange hue, it’s contrasted by a series of black leather panels that embrace the rest of the upper for a premium look and feel. As its name suggests, this Huarache actually makes use of Crater foam which is crafted from recycled Grind Rubber. Making its way to the tongue badge and Air midsole underfoot, the result is a sneaker that scores top marks, both in aesthetics and in sustainability.
The Nike Air Huarache Crater Woven Black Atomic Orange is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
