Originally released in 1991, the Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Air Huarache took the world by storm with its neoprene sock-like fit and futuristic design. As design intent has changed over the years, the Huarache and plenty of retro silhouettes have begun to get eco-friendly makeovers courtesy of Nike Crater technology. Already appearing in a multi-color mix, the latest Nike Air Huarache Crater comes in “Woven Light Bone.”
Covering the internal neoprene bootie is a mixture of leather overlays along the toe and midfoot as well as a woven checkerboard pattern textile in white and light bone. Up along the tongue, the white neoprene is exposed with a set of white laces working up to the recycled tongue branding. Back on the heel, a black rubber overlay comes connected to a recycled rear pull-tab. The insole and sockliner partake in a volt green and light bone combo respectively. Rounding out the look is the Crater Foam midsole with Air branding debossed on the heel and the black Nike Grind rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Huarache Crater Woven Light Bone is set to release on July 26th, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-stores. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
