Official Look Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Los Angeles
Updated on •Published
After seeing the “Wheat” colorway drop, and the upcoming “Aquamarine,” another new colorway of the classic Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is on the way. One of the most popular signature sneakers of all-time, this LA-themed pair literally has “LAX” written all over it.
As the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, a gradient fade design accents the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Los Angeles.” It comes in a black, concord, yellow strike, and white colorway. Featuring classic colorblocking, black nubuck covers the majority of the sneaker. The “Nike” branding on the ankle strap has been replaced by “LAX,” further pointing to the inspiration behind this pair. Concord purple hits are found via the Swoosh on the toe, number “24” on the ankle strap enclosure, and Swoosh on the back heel. Hits of yellow, visible Max Air cushioning throughout the midsole, a hit of iridescent 3M on the back heel pull tab, and “Los Angeles” labeled lace tips finish things off.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Los Angeles is set to release in September 2022. It will drop at Nike, as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $180. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
