The Air Force 1 has never looked so futuristic.
Even though the Air Force 1 is celebrating its massive 40th birthday this year, the Bruce Kilgore-designed sneaker has pretty much looked exactly the same over the past four decades. Until now, that is. For 2022, the Beaverton company has unleashed the Nike Air Force 1 Mid React "Triple White," and it's the most futuristic the basketball shoe has ever looked.
Arriving in the classic "Triple White" color scheme, the front half of this sneaker is identical to the OG. With a perforated white leather toe box and an Air sole, if you covered one eye you'd think that you were checking out the original pair. With that said, the back half features an avant-garde mesh construction that blends with the collar and lacing system. This is inlaid with a glossy Swoosh across the lateral and medial side panels, and decorated with a rugged Velcro strap around the back. An oversized heel pull tab offers a utilitarian vibe, and it's all rounded off with React foam cushioning that's as comfortable as it gets.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid React Triple White is set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
