Does anyone know why Nike is releasing so many Nike Air Force 1 Mids this year? No? Of course you do, it’s the 40th Anniversary of the silhouette! As a result, Nike has decided that it’s time for the Mids to shine. While there have been a bunch of releases with more on the way, this particular one may just be the crème de la crème. Anytime Nike uses the word "Premium" with an AF1, that jusually means upgraded materials.
While the entire sneaker is mostly black, some of the premium elements standout for this Nike Air Force 1 Mid Premium "Black Metallic." The upgrades consist of waxed laces, tumbled leather side panels, embossed Swoosh logos, and leather on the mid-foot ankle strap, tongue, and insoles. Metallic Silver Swooshes adorn the side panels, with a smoky translucent midsole/outsole combo. Finishing the sneaker off is a pink Swoosh graphic under the outsole. These sneakers also come with an extra set of pink laces.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Premium Black Metallic is scheduled to release on September 9th, 2022. It will drop at Nike and select retailers worldwide, online and in-store.
