Over the past few months, Nike has been celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 by dropping some of the best colorways that we've seen in a very long time. While some truly crazy pairs have been revealed, the Beaverton sportswear giant has also unleashed a bevy of ultra clean ones as well, including the freshly-announced Nike Air Force 1 Mid LX Tokyo "Viotech." Giving the mid-top basketball a simple yet striking makeover, make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Arriving in a full leather construction, the base of the Air Force 1 Mid LX Tokyo is dipped in a crisp summit white tone. This is contrasted by faux croc panels across the board which are all painted in a bold viotech purple palette. A midfoot strap wraps around the ankle for the ultimate lockdown fit, while the classic Swoosh glides through the laterals and medials. Of course, you can't talk about this special edition AF1 without mentioning the "Tokyo" graphic that's finely debossed on the heel. The sneaker also comes with an exclusive "Tokyo" hang tag that's accented with ghost green hues.
Exclusively available in women's sizes, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid LX Tokyo Viotech W is scheduled to release on December 9th, 2022 for $130 and will be available via Nike and select online and in-store retailers worldwide.
