Nike is known for many great things, and creating excellent themed sneakers is definitely one of them. Over the past few years, the Beaverton brand has been host to many breathtaking Halloween-inspired pairs, and the same can definitely be said about the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Halloween." for 2022. While it doesn’t take its inspiration as literally as previous offerings, the scary vibes still come through pretty clearly.
Boasting an eerie all-black base, the “Halloween” AF1 Mid features a premium leather and suede construction that’s dipped in a stealthy “Off Noir” hue. A duo of Swooshes hover across the lateral and medial sides in a sacai-like fashion, while an additional one is printed on the velcro-fastened ankle strap. Around the heel, you’ll find the top half of the Air branding, acting like an apparition to the one on the midsole, with vampiric Nike branding adorns the tongue. A scream green insole adds a vibrant hue to the otherwise muted palette, and while you won’t see this neon element, sometimes the scariest things in life are the things that you can’t see, right? Rounding it all off, reflective 3M accents can be found across the AF 1, so you can show your fangs even in low-light conditions.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Halloween was originally set to release on October 27th, 2022. After a small delay, it will now release on November 8th. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $150.
