In celebration of the model's 40th Anniversary, Nike has big plans ahead for the Air Force 1 across all variations. Part of this is a set of Nike Air Force 1 Mid's honoring cities across the world, including London. Now revealed is an upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Mid taking inspiration from Berlin.
As with other pairs in this City Pack, the main details across the tumbled leather and suede upper nod to the streets of the German capital. The lace dubrae positioned at the bottom of the suede off-noir eyelets take the shape of Berlin street signs, holding the black laces that work up the cave stone colored leather tongue. Cave Stone covers the leather underlays with Off-Noir across the suede overlays. More Berlin motifs can be found on the mudguard, with the city's area code “030” embroidered in teal. A Nike Swoosh along the midfoot wrapping back to the heel tab and lockdown strap provide the only break between the two-tone look, coming in a stark white.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Berlin is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
