Just when you thought Nike was about to run out of ideas for the Air Force 1, the Beaverton brand reveals the Nike Air Force 1 LX Command Force "Summit White Black." While this might look like another monochromatic colorway from the outset, it's actually steeped in heritage and history, being inspired by one of the most iconic basketball shoes of the '90s. Intrigued? Then read on to find out everything that you need to know, including release information, pricing, and much more.
Crafted from summit white leather that's been given a subtle textured finish, contrast black accents make their way to the tongue, sockliner, and Swoosh, which is done up in a supple suede material. Muslin laces tie everything together for a deliciously vintage aesthetic, and this is complemented by the Air midsole underfoot. If you're wondering where the Air Command Force comes in, it's the font used throughout the sneaker that's taken straight from the 1991 icon. It's even finely etched onto the glossy dubrae so you know that this is a special edition Air Force 1. If you're looking for a pair that falls more in line with the OG ACF, make sure you check out the "Summit White Hyper Royal."
Releasing exclusively in women's sizes in February 2023, the Nike Air Force 1 LX Command Force Summit White Black W will retail for $130. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, make sure you keep it locked on Sole Retriever's Twitter and Mobile App for your best chance to cop!
