Nike's Air Force 1, originally designed by Bruce Kilgore, is no stranger to reinterpretations, and over the years, it has seen countless renditions in line with the ever-changing fashion landscape. As winter approaches in 2023, Nike is gearing up with its winterized sneakers to ensure fans stay stylish without compromising warmth. One notable release on the horizon is the Air Force 1 Low Winterized Cargo Khaki Ale Brown, reminiscent in color and material of another recently unveiled Nike Dunk Low Winterized.
Beyond its surface similarities to its Dunk counterpart, this Air Force 1 introduces novel elements. One standout feature is the clips dispersed around the upper, designed to secure an attachable shroud. Crafted from durable ripstop material, this protective layer displays prominent Nike branding and employs a bungee cord mechanism for adjustability. Stripping away this shroud unveils a symphony of materials, including textured leather, canvas, and nubuck. Consistent cargo khaki shades, complementing the shroud, adorn the textured leather toebox, mudguard, Swoosh, and tongue tag. In stark contrast, yellow elements, reminiscent of golden autumn leaves, garnish the tongue eyelets, midfoot panel, and collar. This vibrant yellow extends its presence to the inner sockliner. Finalizing this aesthetic is the classic sail AF1 midsole coupled with a sturdy gum rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Winterized Cargo Khaki Ale Brown will release Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
