Thematic sneaker releases from Nike are vital to the brand’s launch calendar. While we are all awaiting the launch of the Dunk Low and AF1 in its “ATL” theme, images have begun to surface of Nike’s next pack dubbed “Unlock Your Space.” So far, we’ve seen the Nike Air Max 1 and Dunk Low come as a part of the series, with the iconic Air Force 1 Low now joining the space-themed party.
Like other pairs in the “Unlock Your Space” collection, this AF1 features creamy white shades accented by muted gradient patterns. Across its upper sits white leather overlays with the eyestays deviating slightly as it comes in a creamy hue. Along this panel, we see a combo of blue, green, yellow, and metallic silver eyelets hosting stark white laces. The tongue with space-like Nike branding atop its black nylon tag matches this colorless shade. For our first major hit of color, we see the sockliner doused in a gradient-like blue, yellow, and green. Other notable details for this space-themed pair include the camo-like print on the Swoosh branding, “Unlock Your Space” stamped on the lateral heel, and a space-like Nike logo debossed on the heel tab. Rounding out the design is the semi-translucent midsole and outsole that transitions from clear to an aqua-green hue as you move from the bottom up.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Unlock Your Space will be released in 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
