A Royal Shroud Covers This Nike Air Force 1 Low
Published
When Bruce Kilgore designed the Nike Air Force 1 back in 1982, he and Nike had no idea this silhouette would garner the amount of love it has received over its 40 years on the market. In honor of the 40th anniversary, Nike has big plans for the silhouette including a London-inspired Nike Air Force 1 Mid. Continuing the celebration is the recently revealed Nike Air Force 1 Shroud in a black and royal blue colorway.
While at first glance this colorway may seem simple with its combination of black, white and blue, a closer look allows you to see more intricate details. Along the black leather toe box and mudguard a faint camouflage print makes an appearance. Up above, a royal blue lace shroud with accompanying Swoosh zipper also utilizes this faint camo pattern. Once unzipped and removed, the grid patterned mesh tongue is revealed. Working from the midfoot back to the blue heel tab, a white Nike Swoosh pops off the black leather. The final hits of royal blue come on the sock liner and insole. Rounding out the look is a white on white sole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Shroud Black Royal is scheduled to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
