Bun B, Fat Pat, Paul Wall, Scarface, and Slim Thug. These southern-born MCs are regarded by many to be some of the greatest of all time. While their rhythm and sound are all different, one thing that links all of these icons is the fact that they all come from Houston, Texas. To honor this historical city, the Beaverton footwear company has revealed the Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium "H-Town."
The first thing that you’ll notice about these Forces is the velvet upper that’s inspired by ‘80s tracksuits. Smooth leather overlays wrap around the rest of the “H-Town,” while university red velour takes over the sockliner, kind of like the StrangeLove Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low from 2020. A metallic silver Swoosh shoots across the laterals and medials, and the Air midsole underfoot is highlighted with tour yellow stitching for a powerful pop of contrast. Of course, you can’t talk about this AF1 without mentioning the special “H-TOWN” branded dubrae that finishes off the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium H-Town is set to release on November 12th, 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
