Over the past few months, Nike has been celebrating the 40th birthday of the Air Force 1 by releasing hundreds of must-have colorways. With each one more unique than the next, you might assume that the Oregon-based footwear brand has officially ran out of ideas, but that is far from the truth. In fact, colorways like the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low "Patchwork" push the boundaries of sneaker design. Unlike anything that we've ever seen, this one-of-a-kind AF1 really needs to be seen to be believed, so make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
From a distance, this Air Force 1 might look another classic colorway, but upon closer inspection you'll find that there is way more than meets the eye. Featuring a premium white leather construction, the special edition pair boasts a mismatched design. From cracked Swooshes to unfinished paintings all the way to metallic gold studs throughout, we've never experienced a sneaker quite like this in all our time in the industry. The iconic "Nike Air" branding on the tongue has been fully reversed, and this effect has been applied on the laser-etched dubraes as well. The lace tips have also been dipped in a glossy gold finish for a luxurious look and feel that will no doubt turn heads for many years to come.
While the Nike Air Force 1 Low Patchwork might not be for the faint of heart, if you're brave enough to cop these are set to release sometime in Spring 2023. Available in men's sizes, they'll drop via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide with a retail price yet TBA. Let us know what you think of this unique colorway, and while you're here, make sure you hit us up on Twitter and ourMobile App to be kept up to date with the hottest sneaker and streetwear releases and news!
