Nike's commitment to celebrating cities and regions around the globe has led to a series of thematic releases, particularly spotlighted through the iconic Air Force 1 Low silhouette. Throughout 2024, we've seen a variety of city-themed makeovers, including editions for Las Vegas, Seoul, and Shanghai. The latest addition to this collection is the Nike Air Force 1 Low Paris, a tribute to the City of Lights as it prepares to host the Summer Olympics.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Paris pays homage to the city's rich culture and history, specifically to the historic catacombs beneath Paris, known for their unique and eerie charm. Evoking the tones of the ancient catacombs, the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay come in a deep brown, while a lighter brown shade graces the toebox and midfoot panels. A unique sunshine-pattern perforation on the toe box sets this pair apart, a design element reminiscent of earlier Dunk Lows and AF1s released this year. The Swoosh, lace set, sockliner, and heel tab are all rendered in contrasting black, adding depth to the shoe's design. Completing the look is a brown midsole with black AIR branding, sitting atop a clear rubber outsole adorned with a pattern inspired by the Parisian catacombs.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Paris will release in Fall 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
