Nike Brings The Bling With The Air Force 1 Low Needlework

Just when you thought Nike was running out of ideas for its Air Force 1, the Oregon-based sportswear company go ahead and introduce the Nike Air Force 1 Low Needlework "Sail." One of the latest colorways to hit the Bruce Kilgore-designed basketball shoe, it's quite unlike anything that we've seen before. Blurring the lines between the past, the present, and the future, if you want a pair in your collection then keep reading to find out everything that you need to know.
From a distance, this AF1 looks like your classic white-on-white release, but upon closer inspection you'll find that there's much more than meets the eye. Outfitted in smooth sail leather that feels and looks pretty premium, one of the first things that you'll notice are the toebox perforations which have been reworked to form a pattern that you would usually find on a traditional pair of brogues. Elsewhere, the Swooshes across the sides are accented with metallic silver, and around the back you'll find "Nike" debossed as if it were written using a needle, nodding to the name of the shoe. This is blinged up with a single diamanté jewel which sits on top of the letter "i," and this graphic can also be found printed on the tawny brown insole. To round it all off, the conventional flat laces have been switched out with a pair of rope ones for a tailored aesthetic that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Needlework Sail W will release sometime in Summer 2023. Set to drop exclusively in women's sizes, they'll be available at Nike, the SNKRS app, select retailers both online and in-store for $120.
