Nike is known for its diverse and creative sneaker designs, and the upcoming release of the Nike Air Force 1 Low NAI-KE Basket Weave Gorge Green is no exception. This new colorway celebrates the Chinese market and follows up on a more neutral pair using the same construction.
This Air Force 1 Low features leather and textile across its upper, combining different shades of sail and green. Sail-colored leather panels can be found on the toebox, mudguard, eyestays, and heel, while the tongue tag, Swoosh, and heel tab are dressed in gorge green leather. The quarter panel showcases a basket weave pattern in an array of neutral shades mixed with light greens. The tongue also boasts a woven finish in a sail hue. Light green leather is used for the sockliner, contrasting with the darker green finish of the Chinese character-laden heel tab. A sail midsole and light green outsole complete the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low NAI-KE Basket Weave Gorge Green will be released this year through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
