Mother’s Day is just around the corner, the day in which we celebrate the women in our lives that have shaped us into who we have become. What better way to show your love than matching with your mother in a pair of Nike Air Force 1’s? That question has been answered by Nike, only if you're a child, as the Swoosh has a matching set of women's and kids AF1s on the way, entitled “Mommy and Mini.”
Both pairs, women and kids come identical, sans the heel tabs “Mama” and “Mini” embroidery respectively. Dressing the majority of the upper is a white smooth leather, seen on the toebox, mudguard, eyelet, midfoot, and heel. The mesh tongue deviates slightly, coming in an off-white shade with a yellow strike terry cloth tongue tag housing Nike branding in crimson bliss. Terry cloth and yellow strike makes another appearance, this time on the profile Nike Swoosh.
Placed on the lace dubrae is a hangtag featuring a Nike Swoosh and the text “Mini,” a play on both the logo and kids pairs branding. As mentioned previously, the embroidery on the heel sits on a satin heel tab. The upper is finished off by the crimson bliss sockliner and vivid green insole. Rounding everything out is the pearl white midsole and outsole combo.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Mommy and Mini W is set to release in June of 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s and kids sizing, the retail price for women’s pairs is set at $120.
