It might not make for the most pleasant outdoor dining or World Cup watching weather, but this spring and summer’s mix of heavy rains and heat waves has been great for the flowers. Across the country, new buds are reaching towards the sun and spreading their petals, inspiring sneaker brands to drape colorways and collabs in roses, cherry blossoms, and embroidered vines.
Flowery Forces
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Flower Pack features three monochrome AF1s in Black, White, and Pink Rise. Starting with a classic leather construction, all three pairs add plush velvet sockliners with leather flowers cut out and attached to the side panel and heel with silver studs.

We first got a look at the concept with images of a similarly adorned pink Nike Dunk Low. On the Forces, the flowers revive the image of the triple-black Air Force 1, the white-on-white keeps things classic, and the pink pair adds the most floral energy of them all. A silver lace dubrae and white lettering on the tongue tag wraps it all up.
