The deconstructed trend has been making waves over the past few years thanks to icons such as Chitose Abe, Tom Sachs, and of course, Virgil Abloh. Taking conventional sneakers and fully reworking them from the ground up, it results in an avant-garde aesthetic that you just can’t help but admire. This season, Nike themselves are taking this futuristic fad to new heights, kicking it all off with the Nike Air Force 1 Low Cut Out "White."
While the Swoosh could’ve just dropped another “Triple White” colorway and called it a day, they have never been ones to play it safe. Working on the OG all-white pair, the first thing that you’ll probably notice about the “Cut Out” is the random cut outs that have been made across the sneaker’s leather upper. The lateral toe of the left shoe boasts a brown snakeskin layer, and a portion of the side panel has been physically removed to reveal the inside of the AF1. Here, the Swoosh has also been dipped in a vibrant blue hue for a look that is sure to turn heads. On the right shoe, you’ll find a dash of black mesh and a slither of orange canvas on the mudguard that’s unlike anything we’ve seen before.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Cut Out White is set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike, as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Sizing and price are TBA.
