Nike has been introducing a bevy of Anniversary Edition AF1s this year to celebrate the legendary sneaker’s 40th birthday, and one of the most eye-catching colorways has got to be the Nike Air Force 1 Anniversary Edition “Split.” Made for those who love both the “Triple Black” and “Triple White” flavors, if you’re feeling a little indecisive then you need this in your collection.
Rather than doing the obvious and cutting right through the center of the sneakers, the split actually occurs at an angle so you get a healthy portion of both colors. Crafted from premium leather, pebbled texturing graces the white Swooshes while faux croc detailing adorns the black ones. Luxe gold hues hit the lace lock and top eyelet, while the tongue is decorated with “Anniversary Edition” in a cursive font. To round it all off, a music-inspired graphic is printed onto the heel, perhaps as a nod to hip-hop’s massive influence on the model.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Anniversary Edition Split is set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide.
