Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, hype surrounding clogs and mules has now shot up to an all-time high. Footwear brands like Birkenstock and Crocs have both benefited from this rise in popularity the most, and now Nike wants a piece of the action by re-releasing the Nike Air Force 1 Lover XX "Off White Light Silver." Originally introduced as part of 2018's "Reimagined" Collection, here's everything that you need to know about its return.
From a distance these may look like a classic pair of "Triple White" AF1s, but upon further inspection you'll quickly realize that this isn't the case. Featuring an light silver suede upper that's void of any laces or details, perforations along the toe box offer optimum ventilation, while the heel portion has been scooped out for easy access. Underfoot, the off-white Air midsole has been heightened for extra comfort, and around the back you'll find the signature Nike Swoosh that we all know and love.
Set to drop alongside a range of other colorways, the Nike Air Force 1 Lover XX Off White Light Silver W will release in Spring 2023 in women's sizes and will retail for $130. Expected to be available via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, while this might not be for everyone it's definitely worth checking out especially if you haven't jumped on the clog train yet.
