For its 40th Anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 is having a huge year. A multitude of colorways has been revealed so far, including a large variety of paisley print editions. Nike is looking into the archives for a vintage spin on an OG AF1 colorway with the Nike Air Force 1 High LV8 “Sail Medium Grey.”
With its LV8 name, the upper of this AF1 High comes dressed in premium leather and canvas that has a vintage hue to it. These sail hits make their way onto the toebox, mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. Matching laces and lockdown strap help keep the monochromatic look found on the majority of the upper. Breaking up this color scheme is the canvas midfoot panel coming in grey, with an accenting vintage silver Nike Swoosh that runs back to the cracked leather heel tab. Rounding everything out is a sail midsole paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 High LV8 Sail Medium Grey is set to release in July 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men and grade school sizing, the men's pairs will retail for $130.
