Following in the footsteps of the LeBron 19 and SB Zoom Stefan Janoski, official images of the Air Force 1 Fontanka, from the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle XVII Collection have surfaced. Designed by Cidni O’Brien, these AF1’s draw inspiration from her love of animals as well as soccer and her teammates.
A women’s exclusive design, the Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka features a layered upper, lifted midsole, and React foam cushioning in place of traditional Air. This “Doernbecher” edition comes in a university red, black, light photo blue, and copa colorway. Sporting a multi-color leather upper, heart details are found via the studs on the side panels, below the eyestays, back of the heel, and perforated on the toebox.
Her pets names are printed on the laces while soccer ball vibes are found on the Swoosh on the sides as well as the back heel tab. All this is finished off by a full translucent outsole with a unique graphic underneath. Each pair comes in a special blue Nike x Doernbecher box.
