Creating a modern take on the sneaker with sustainability and comfort in mind.
The Nike Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit Next Nature edition takes the AF1 Crater, and adds Flyknit to the upper, perfect for the summer heat. Set to release in various colorways, “White Platinum Tint," “Black Scream Green,” and “Black Pure Platinum” iterations are set to kick things off. These sneakers are a part of Nike’s “Next Nature” line, a product line introduced over the past year and a half where Nike creates versions of many of their well-known silhouettes with at least 20% recycled materials in an effort to bolster the brand’s sustainability–part of their “Move to Zero” initiative. The Nike Air Force 1 Crater has a sole made with 11% recycled “Crater” foam, a speckled foam that leaves some of the lines in the bottom of the outsole empty, rather than filled like a traditional Air Force 1.
The Nike Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit NN in the three colorways listed above were originally set to release on June 9th, 2022. They are now scheduled to drop in July. When released, they will be available at Nike, as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $130.
