Nike's NY vs. NY basketball tournament is set to return in 2024. The annual tournament occurs at various parks across New York City, including Watson, Dyckman, Lincoln, and Rucker. Fresh off the heels of the 2023 tourney, which saw Nike celebrate the events with special edition colorways of the Terminator Low, Dunk Low, and KD 16, the Swoosh will continue this trend for Fall 2024.
To celebrate the NY vs. NY 2024 Tournament, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro will be making a comeback. Outside of a few kids' exclusives, this will be the first Foamposite Pro release since the Volt pair was re-released in February 2021. Keeping things simple, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro NY vs. NY comes in a clean wolf grey and black colorway.
The Foamposite shell along, Swoosh on the toe and back heel, branding on the tongue, and stripes on the back heel and tongue pull tabs come in wolf grey. The rest of the sneaker is covered in black, including the solid rubber outsole. At this time, no NY vs. NY labeling appears on this release. However, things can change between now and the release date, which is many months away.
