When it comes to kid’s sneakers, brands like Nike pull out all the creativity to give kids unique sneakers. A theme that seems to be running strong over in Beaverton, Oregon is kaleidoscopes which often come with vivid colors and patterns. Already taking this theme and applying it to the Nike LeBron 20, a classic Nike Basketball model, the Nike Air Foamposite One, is now coming in a similar “Kaleidoscope” colorway.
Keeping the iconic construction the Foamposite is known for, the silhouette takes on varying shades of blue across its upper with accenting hits of yellow, green, and a multi-color pattern that lands on the tongue and sockliner. Suede eyestays come in a slightly lighter shade of blue compared to the Foamposite material surrounding it while minty green laces clash against the red, blue, and yellow kaleidoscope pattern printed on the tongue. Standard branding for the model remains with Penny Hardaway’s logo placed on the center of the nylon pull-tab located on the tongue and embroidered back into the heel. Underfoot sits an icy blue semi-translucent sole unit with a midfoot shank hosting more kaleidoscope patterns.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Kaleidoscope GS is set to release on February 17th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school, pre-school, and toddler sizing, the retail price is set at $185, $110, and $80 respectively.
