The 33-year-old silhouette is now cleaner than ever.

Originally released in the same year as the legendary Air Jordan 4, there’s no doubt that the Air Flight 89 has been somewhat overshadowed by the behemoth that is Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker. With that said, the Flight 89 is actually a pretty iconic shoe in itself, and it is set to come back in a clean white, black, and red colorway.
Boasting a pebbled white leather construction, each panel is highlighted with black outlines for added depth. Black mesh also makes its way to the collar and tongue for added comfort, and speaking of which, this is where you’ll find the model’s signature “Air Flight” logo. A Swoosh shoots past the lateral and medial sides, while additional Nike branding is finely embroidered around the back. As mentioned before, the Nike Air Flight 89 actually debuted in the same year as the AJ 4, so they share the exact same midsole underfoot. This particular unit has been accented with soft pink tones and a fiery splash of university red.
The Nike Air Flight 89 White Black Red is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $120. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
