Ever since it was announced that Nike's Air Flight 89 was making a comeback last summer, we haven't really seen many colorways get unveiled. While we got a sneak peek of the "Planet Of Hoops" in November, we've heard nothing but radio silence since. Well, until now, that is, as we take a first look at the Nike Air Flight 89 "Stormtrooper." One of the latest releases to hit the '80s basketball model, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Bearing a striking resemblance to other retro hardcourt silhouettes like the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4, the Air Flight 89 is outfitted in slick black tumbled leather throughout. Contrast white accent venture throughout the upper for a look that is sure to turn heads, while a Swoosh shoots through the sidewalls for that unmistakable Swoosh aesthetic. "Air Flight" is scrawled across the tongue in a cursive font, and underfoot, the midsole is infused with the Beaverton brand's critically-acclaimed Air technology, finalizing the simple yet striking design.
The Nike Air Flight 89 Stormtrooper is scheduled to release in Holiday 2023 in men's sizes for $130.
