With the spooky season in full swing, Nike and other brands across the industry have prepped plenty of offerings to satisfy the spooky cravings. While some are more overt nods to key figures in Halloween culture, like the Nike Air Force 1 Low Jason Vorhees, some pairs take on color palettes that evoke the aesthetic of certain characters. One such pair from The Swoosh is the all-new Air 180 Beetlejuice, taking on the colors of the iconic character (and similar shades to those of the Joker).
OG construction is on this Nike Air 180, with black suede details landing on the mudguard and midfoot panel. Below this sits more black shades on the mesh, which extends from the toe back to the collar. Providing a break from this darker finish are the pops of color along the tongue, seen on the action green laces, and the purple 180 branding on the tongue tag. A white Swoosh runs across the midfoot, continuing to accent the primarily black sneaker, while more purple lands on the TPU heel counter. Underfoot sits a black and green foam midsole with an Air 180 unit in the heel and a green and purple rubber outsole.
The Nike Air 180 Beetlejuice will release on November 5, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
