Even before the term "gorpcore" was invented, Nike's ACG line was leading the way in terms of stylish hiking apparel. With its origins stretching as far back as the early '80s, All Conditions Gear paved the way to the outdoorsy trend that is all the rage these days. For its latest release, the Nike ACG Lowcate Pouch "Oil Green Bright Cactus," the American sportswear company is going all the way back to the beginning, complete with a bunch of cool details and features that you probably didn't know existed.

The Lowcate is quickly becoming one of ACG's most popular pairs. After checking out the "Leap High" and "Wolf Grey" earlier this season, it has now been revealed in an "Oil Green" color scheme, and it's no doubt the brightest of the bunch. Working on top of a quilted nylon base that's painted in lemon chiffon, bright cactus leather panels wrap around the rest of the upper for a contrast that both clashes and complements. A Swoosh shoots the lateral and medial sidewalls alongside the iconic "ACG" logo, and around the back, you'll find a pouch that's fastened by a single zip. The perfect place to keep all of your essentials safe and sound, including your good old raisins and peanuts, it can be conveniently removed if you so prefer. That's not all though, as behind the tongue you'll find a woven canvas tab. Pulling this reveals an in-built shroud that clips onto the rivets on the sides and front of the lacing system. This adds extra protection from the elements, whether you're exploring a concrete jungle or, well, actual jungles.

The Nike ACG Lowcate Pouch Oil Green Lemon Chiffon is set to release on April 21st, 2023 in men's sizes for $125 via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers.
