Nike's ACG Lowcate Comes Covered in Earthy Hues
PublishedThe world of sneakers is ever-evolving, with brands like Nike constantly innovating and reimagining designs. The ACG line, short for"All Conditions Gear," has been a playground for the brand to explore outdoor functionality and style since the late '80s. Later this year, Nike will be revisiting the ACG Lowcate silhouette in an earthy color palette with the “Earth Light Iron Ore” colorway.
This variant of the ACG Lowcate offers a combination of different materials and colors that stay true to its all-terrain heritage. The upper features a robust mix of dark brown suede covering the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. Contrasting the suede is black mesh, which forms the base layer and hosts TPU overlays near the vamp, toe box, and midfoot. The Swoosh takes center stage in grey and atop a black ACG mark along midfoot. The shoe's tongue and laces sport tonal browns, while the pull tab sports ACG logos and pops out in stark white. The sneaker sits atop a white midsole, and the design is completed with a grey and black grippy outsole.
The Nike ACG Lowcate Earth Light Iron Ore will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Offered in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
