From the USA to Qatar.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is now just two months away, and as we prepare ourselves for the hottest sporting event of the entire year, Nike has gone ahead and revealed its home and away federation jerseys that will be worn in the event itself. This time around, the Beaverton sportswear giant will be representing 13 countries in total, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, England, France, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, The Netherlands, and of course, the USA. Each piece celebrates their respective country's rich heritage and soccer culture.
Painted in each country's signature color schemes, all 26 jerseys are crafted from a 100% recycled polyester knit that's made using recycled bottles. They also feature the Oregon brand's iconic Dri-FIT ADV technology that has been perfected using 4D modeling for precise ventilation and reinforcement. "Our new team collections represent the latest example of how we serve athletes with pinnacle product innovation from Pitch to Street," explained Scott Dixon, the VP of global men’s football at Nike. "With 5 billion fans across the globe, no other sport brings people together more than football. That’s why we’re committed to bringing our best to the world’s biggest stage—and everywhere else—and building the most joyful, brilliant Nike football community ever."
Set to drop alongside a vast selection of T-shirts, hoodies, sweats, and accessories, the Nike 2022 FIFA World Cup Football Jerseys will release exclusively to Nike members on September 15th, 2022 with a wider launch scheduled in for September 21st, 2022.
