The Basement Gang is getting a set of New Balance 2002Rs.

If you haven't heard of Basement Approved, consider yourself Patrick Star living under a rock. What started as Facebook group to talk about Supreme, BAPE, and Palace has morphed into a massive lifestyle brand that lives at the intersection of culture and fashion. Now the UK-based brand is getting their very own collaboration with New Balance.
The Basement Approved x 2002R arrives in green and grey colorways. Both sneakers feature a tricolor palette with the grey pair featuring two shades of grey juxtaposed by black suede and the green pair adopting two variations of green suede. Black continues throughout the rubber N-ergy shock absorbing outsole, ABZORB midsole and ABZORB SBS heel cushioning for superior comfort. Finishing things off, is a sleek New Balance "N" adorning each of the sidewalls of sneakers with Basement Approved branding on the tongue, heel tabs, sole inserts, and at the base of the lacing system.
Both the Basement Approved x 2002R Green and Grey were originally expected to release in 2021, but the release has been pushed back to 2022. To stay up to date on the latest New Balance releases follow us on Twitter and download the app.
